Keeping my space inspiring is one of my biggest tricks for getting the most out of my meditation/spirituality routine and staying consistent with my manifestations. It can be challenging to keep up a routine if you start feeling unmotivated. This can happen if the outside environment doesn’t match the vibe you are trying to embody. This was the issue I found myself having when I started my spiritual journey. I would fall off track and work hard to regain my high-level vibration. After this cycle happened over and over, I discovered one of the most valuable tips for staying inspired on my spiritual journey, which I will talk about here.

How to Create a Zen Space

What is a zen space? A place in your home or somewhere else created explicitly for peace, meditation and relaxation. It’s a tranquil place that allows one to focus on their intentions and inner world. You can practice yoga, meditation, or any mindfulness practice you enjoy. Creating a beautiful space where we feel safe and grounded allows us to become closer to the divine and feel more connected.

  1. Small changes. Making small changes can easily evoke positive emotions and feelings. Simple fixes like adding specific colors, textures, and fabrics. Even rearranging furniture is simple and can allow for more energy flow.

  2. Choose an Intention. What do you want for this space? The key is to ask yourself what kind of feeling you want to have when you enter this space. The more you soak up that energy, the better you’ll be at experiencing more of it in other areas.

  3. Choose a Vibe. Do you want a loving, inspirational, happy space? A calming sleepy space? Or a healing and grounding space? Etc. This will help you decide what decorations to add and what should fill up the area.

Behind the Colors

When you intentionally create a beautiful space, you want to focus on the positives and bring more into your life. This is because we tend to seek out beauty in our everyday lives. The same goes for positive energy/vibes. One great thing to note is that colors tie directly into our moods. Intentionally picking colors for a space can completely change how you feel when entering an area.

What colors bring the emotions you want? The colors are also associated with chakras; incorporating specific colors can help align and activate the chakra related to them. Below are examples of what each color represents:
